Witty Revolt: I’m Not Here to Behave

I didn’t build Witty Revolt because I was bored.

I built it because I was done. 🔥

Done playing nice. Done shrinking. Done pretending that being “palatable” was the goal.

I’m a retired big-city police lieutenant. I’ve seen the inside of systems. I’ve seen leadership done well… and leadership done like a clown car on fire. 🚒 I’ve seen loyalty. I’ve seen corruption. I’ve seen strength. I’ve seen people crumble.

And somewhere along the way, I realized something:

If I’m going to build something in this chapter of my life, it’s going to be real.

No fake urgency. No performative outrage. No “influencer” nonsense. No begging for validation.

Just grit, creativity, and community. 💪

What Witty Revolt Actually Is

It’s not just a craft brand.

It’s not just laser-burned hats and bougie shower caps and tumblers with attitude.

It’s rebellion in the form of creativity. ⚡

It’s a 100W Omtech laser humming in a craft room the size of an RV bay while two golden retrievers supervise like middle management. 🐾 It’s wood scraps, paint under fingernails, and projects that don’t always go perfectly — but get finished anyway.

It’s:

Bougie.
Extra bougie. Super bougie. ✨

Hats burned with intention.
Coasters with bite.
Dog poo bags with personality. 💩
Fundraisers that mean something. 💚
Craft auctions that turn into therapy sessions.
Community that actually shows up.

This isn’t mass-produced. It’s hand-built. Sometimes chaotic. Always intentional.

Why I’m Doing Affiliate Links (And Why I’m Not Weird About It)

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. 🐘

Yes, I use affiliate links.

Because if I’m already recommending the mic I use, the laser I swear by, the RV gear that doesn’t suck, or the dog toys my girls destroy in 48 hours…

This isn’t a charity. It’s a business. 💼

If I recommend something, it’s because:

I use it.
I’ve tested it.
It didn’t break.
It didn’t annoy me.
It’s worth your money.

If it’s junk, I won’t link it. Period.

So when you see a link, just know — it supports this feral little ecosystem I’ve built. 🌵

And I’ll always disclose it. No shady nonsense.

What You’ll Find Here

On this blog, you’re going to get:

Craft chaos.
Behind-the-scenes of product creation.
Honest business lessons (the wins and the “what the hell was I thinking” moments).
Gear I actually use for podcasting and YouTube. 🎙
RV life essentials that don’t make you regret leaving your house. 🚐
Dog stuff that survives Golden Retriever energy. 🐶
Real talk about getting older and giving fewer f*cks.
Fundraisers and community projects that matter. 💚

If it’s here, it’s vetted. If it’s linked, it’s intentional.

This Is the IDGAF Era

I’m almost 56.

I’ve stopped coloring my hair. I rarely leave the house unless I want to. I don’t chase trends. I don’t chase arguments. I don’t chase people.

I build.
I create.
I protect my peace like it’s classified information. 🔐

If you’re here for drama — wrong website.

If you’re here to build something real, make money ethically, support community, and maybe laugh a little along the way?

Pull up a chair. ☕️

What’s Coming Next

In the next few posts, I’ll be sharing:

My exact crafting gear setup 🛠
My podcast mic and recording equipment 🎙
The RV essentials I refuse to travel without 🚐
My laser tools and must-have materials
The dog gear that passes the chaos test 🐾

And yes — there will be links.

When I do, I’ll clearly mark them. Something like:

🎙 Rode Mic Setup: https://amzn.to/46AlqMg
🚐 RV Must-Have: https://amzn.to/3ZEcYI8

Clean. Transparent. No weirdness.

If You’ve Been Here Since Day One…

You know this isn’t about selling random stuff.

It’s about building a self-sustaining creative life. 🌿
It’s about community that rallies.
It’s about being a little feral, a little bold, and completely uninterested in being quiet. 🖤

Witty Revolt isn’t polished.

It’s powerful.

Welcome to it.
